Application available on WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) from 29/07/2009 to 01/09/2009 for recruitment to the post of Group-I Services.
The desirous eligible Candidates may apply
on-line by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of this recruitment. The commission has dispensed with the sale of applications through HPO’s / Sales Counter of Commission’s office. The details are as follows:-
The Government in Finance Department have accorded permission for filling up of Additional vacancies falling under Group-I Services in addition to the vacancies already notified vide Notification No. 39/2008, dt. 30/12/2008 vide D.O. Letter No.13860-B/737/A3/SMPC/2008-3/1, dt. 19/01/2009 keeping in view, the actual requirement with reference to the nature of work and activities of the Departments and also the overall financial implications on the Government exchequer and in relaxation of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No. 424 GA (Ser.A) Dept., dt. 15/12/2007. The Government have also issued orders duly enhancing the upper age limit to these Additional posts up to 39 years (other than uniformed services) vide G.O. Ms. No. 335 GA (Ser.A) Dept., dt. 04/07/2009.
In view of the above circumstances, the vacancy position post code wise is as

- Assistant Prohibition & Excise Superintendent in A.P. Prohibition & Excise Service-08

Age: Minimum & Maximum age will be reckoned as on 01/07/2008.
Qualifications: Candidates should have acquired the qualifications as on the date of notification no. 39/2008 i.e., 30/12/2008.
Educational Qualifications: For P.C. Nos. 01, 02, 04, 05, 07, 08, 09, 10,12 &13: A Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University in India established or incorporated by or under Central Act, Provincial Act, a State Act or an Institution recognised by the U.G.C. or an equivalent qualification.
For P.C.No. 06: B.E.(Fire) Degree or its equivalent, if B.E.(Fire) candidates are not available, candidates with Degree in any discipline will be considered.
For P.C.No. 11: A Degree in Commerce or Economics or Mathematics of a University with at least 2nd Class in the Subject (OR) a CA of the UK or India or Incorporated Accountant

Detailed Notification with breakup of vacancies, scale of pay, age, community, Educational qualifications and other instructions along with prescribed Application proforma may be viewed at WEBSITE

After filling the necessary details, the challan will be generated in downloadable/printable PDF, Candidates are required to take printout of the challan which may be retained with the candidates for reference. The Candidates are required to pay the amount indicated in the challan in any branch of State Bank of India across the country / AP Online centres and fill up application form ONLINE as detailed below.
IMPORTANT: • The Candidate should read the Commission’s Notification and other instructions available in User’s Guide carefully before applying for the Recruitment and enter the particulars properly in the Application though ON-LINE.
• Candidates are required to retain a photocopy of Application form with Reference Id No.
• Candidates have to submit applications only through online mode, Hand written/ Typed/ Photostat copies/ Printed Application Form will not be entertained either by
APPSC directly or by Post Office nor in person.
• Candidates are advised to submit their applications through on-line well in advance of the last date to avoid last day rush.

How to pay Fees and fill in the Application Form. I Step:- The Candidate has to logon to the WEBSITE (
www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community.
II Step:- Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India.
III Step:- The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance.
IV Step:- On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application for submission.
Last date for payment of Fee at AP Online/SBI is 29/08/2009
Last date for submission of Application is 01/09/2009
