EAMCET 2009 Counselling Schedule-Dates May Get delayed

Well now that we have the ranks in our hand and we are waiting for the counselling process to get into action.But it doesnot seem to take its action soon.

As it is well know that the certificate verification starts from July 5th,2009 till July 1oth and then the actual counselling starts from JuLy 10th till July 20th.But there can be a delay to give a kick start the counselling procedure.

Education Minister K.C.Reddy had told in the press conference that the counselling will start from July 15th and will proceed till the end of the month July 30th.

The delay can be credited to the actual delay that is present to the Distance Education department.There should be increase in the fee for every 3 years.Till now they dint take a decision regarding the fee increment so is the delay in announcing the date of EAMCET 2009 counselling.He says that there is possibility to have a second phase of counselling if it further gets delayed.

In addition to EAMCET, the Higher Education Minister also plans to take the web based online counselling into other admission programs like Ed-CET,ICET and other CETs

So students update your minds on the changing dates of the counselling schedules.

This year,on the whole.... around 3 lakhs(more than that) wrote the EAMCET 2009 examination.and of them,90% have got passed competing for the two lakh seats available in the engineering colleges.

As every one know that from this time,the EAMCET counselling is Web based and the government is taking all the measures to make sure that the students get awareness before the web based counselling starts.Last year many students got confused with this system.Last time they made many mistakes by choosing different options that were unknown to them.

So 50 "Help Line Centers" around the state have been set up for the counselling process wherein the students have to go there for the certificate verification.Also by registering at www.apeamcet.nic.in, the student will get a password that should be maintained secretly to prevent fraud.

Well after the recent declaration of EAMCET 2009 marks,students as well as parents might have estimated their EAMCET rank by including 25% weight age of IPE(Intermediate Marks) with 75% Marks that they got in EAMCET.

The finalised EAMCET ranks will be declared on June 22,2009.

And what follows then ??

It's the Web Counselling that is different from the previous mode of counselling in some matters.

On the whole there will be EIGHT(8) Phases in the EAMCET Counselling.And there are 50 Help Line centers available.

PHASE-I:

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will conduct the Departmental Tests Examinations at (22) District Head Quarters (except Ranga Reddy District which is clubbed with Hyderabad District) for May, 2009 Session (May and November, 2008 Sessions clubbed) from 19/08/2009 to 25/08/2009 (except on Vinayaka Chathurthi i.e., 23/08/2009) as per the Time-Table shown in accordance with the terms and conditions as laid down in Departmental Tests Rules, 1965 and as amended from time to time.

2. The Commission is inviting the Departmental applications from the candidates for May, 2009 Session examinations through ON-LINE only on payment of Rs.25/- for each Test. Application Form, Time-Table and other full details are available in the Commission’s Website http://www.apspsc.gov.in. Applicants shall apply the Departmental Test for May, 2009 Session examinations through ON-LINE ONLY from 15/06/2009 to 04/07/2009 as the earlier procedure of sale of applications at the Head Post Offices at District Head Quarters and at SALES COUNTER of APPSC Office has been dispensed with by the Commission. The candidate should read the Commission’s Notification and other instructions available in User’s Guide carefully before applying the Test and enter the particulars properly in the Application through ON-LINE.

HOW TO APPLY:

a) (i) The candidate has to read the User Guide for Online submission of applications and then proceed further.

(ii) Affix a recent Colour Passport Size Photograph on a White Paper and then sign below the photograph with Black Pen. Scan the above Photo and Signature and upload the saved (JPG format) file in the space provided in application.

(iii) In case of Divisional Test, the candidates have to download the Service Certificate available in the Website. After filling the Service Certificate and get the Signature with Seal by the Controlling Officer, the same should be scanned and uploaded in the space provided in application.

(iv) The Government Servant should mention “Employee ID No.” in the relevant box of the Application Form. If candidate is not aware of his/her “Employee ID No.”, the same should be obtained from the Drawing and Disbursing Officer concerned.

(v) The Challan Form may be downloaded from the Website and pay the total fee i.e., application fee, fee towards APPSC Udyoga Samacharam and examination fee in a single Challan.

(vi) Those candidates who need assistance of Scribe are requested to apply for the same directly to the Commission on or before 20/07/2009. They should mention the Application ID Number and enclose Copy of the Medical Certificate along with a representation.
