ENTRANCE TEST – CUM - ADMISSION INTO B.U.M.S. COURSE FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2009-10

Applications are invited from Indian Nationals who satisfy G.O.P.No.646, Education (W) Department, dated 10-7-79 as local or non-local for Entrance Test-cum-Admission into B.U.M.S Course at two Unani Medical Colleges affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences for the academic year 2009-10.
ELIGIBILITY:- The candidates should have passed 2 years Intermediate(10+2) pattern or any other equivalent examination (10+2) pattern recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P. or Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P. with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional subjects for Kamil -e-Tib-o- Jarahat Main Course (Urdu Medium) the candidate should have also passed the qualifying examination with Urdu either MIL Examination with Urdu.
AGE:- Candidates should complete 17 years as on 31-12-2009. Candidates who do not complete 17 years as on 31-12-2009 need not apply.

The Application forms and Regulations for Entrance Test-cum-Admission into B.U.M.S. Course can be obtained from any of the following offices from 10-07-2009 to 24-07-2009 on payment of the cost of application as noted above by way of demand draft on any nationalised bank not earlier than 07-07-2009 in favour of Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences payable at Vijayawada.

Requests for supply of application forms by post should be accompanied by a written requisition specifying the name of the course and social status. The candidates shall also clearly type or write on the back of demand draft the name of the candidate, course and social status i.e. OC/BC/SC/ST. Those application forms obtained with cost of Rs.400/- Rs.450/- shall not be considered for other than SC/ST candidates.
The Last date for submission of filledin applications is upto 5-00 PM on 24-07-2009 to the Principal, Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad.
The Hall Tickets for the Entrance Test will be issued at Government Nizamia Tibbi College, Hyderabad on 30-07-2009 & 31-07-2009. The Entrance Test will be held on 02-08-2009 from 10-00 AM to 1-00 PM at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad.
Applications received after 5.00 P.M. on 24-07-2009 and those unaccompanied by the required certificates or with incomplete entries shall stand rejected automatically. Postal delay or loss in transit will not be condoned. For other details read the Regulations carefully.
