EAMCET 2009 Second Phase Counselling Important Dates

With the recent EAMCET 2009 First Phase Seat Allotment Results it is decided to conduct second and final phase of web based counseling for those who have qualified in EAMCET-2009 for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy Courses on account of increase in seats because of sanction of New Engineering & Pharmacy Colleges and also availability of left over vacancies of I phase.

I. Who can participate?

1) Candidates who secured seat in I Phase of web based counseling and wish to move to another course or college.

2) Candidates who participated in I phase of web based counseling and could not secure a seat.

3) Candidates qualified in EAMCET-09 and got their certificates verified but did not participate in I Phase of Web based counseling.

II. Exercising Options:

Candidates can exercise options as per the schedule given below:

  • Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment with regard to course and college should not exercise options again. It may be kept in mind that, if you exercise options again and seat is allotted, your earlier allotment automatically stands cancelled. If you are not satisfied with the college/course allotted in the I Phase, you should only opt for such colleges/courses in II phase which according to you are better.
  • Since some of the candidates who already secured seats will move to other courses and colleges, you may give options for courses and colleges which right now are not shown as available i.e., you can exercise options for any of the colleges listed for Ist phase web counseling and also the new colleges listed for this Final Phase.
  • Options can be exercised from Internet cafĂ©/ Internet facility available at your residence or from any Help Line Centre. For list of Help Line Centres visit: http://apeamcet.nic.in . The Help Line Centres will not function on 21.09.2009 in view of Public Holiday. However, candidates can exercise options from any other place with internet facility.
III. Final Opportunity to Change Options Exercised:
Options exercised by you will be frozen on expiry of time allotted and displayed on the web on 24.09.2009. Candidates who wish to change their options should go to any one of Help Line Centres on 24.09.2009 it self between 9.00 AM to 05.00 PM and change options after remitting Rs.600/-. The options recorded in the server at 8.00 PM of 24.09.2009 will be considered for allotment of seats.

IV. Attention of Sports Candidates:
The Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh in W.P.No. 15393 of 2009 and W.P.No. 14270 of 2009 has directed to include Ball Badminton Under Games & Sports Quota for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy Courses. Hence, All the candidates who are claiming admission
under sport quota are hereby informed that the seats earmarked under sport quota are not filled during I phase of Engineering & Pharmacy Admissions to give opportunity to the candidates of Ball-Badminton also. The Sports quota seats will be filled during II phase.
ALL such candidates who are claiming admissions under Sports Quota have to once again exercise options for the seats under sport quota.

V. Important General Information:
1. Options exercised by the candidates, during 1st Phase of Counseling will not be considered for allotment of seats in final phase.

2. The booklet supplied to you containing factual information on allotment of seats during 2008-09 is only indicative and meant for your guidance and current year position could be different. You are advised to exercise as many options as possible without solely depending on the booklet supplied.

3. Details of new courses and colleges will be placed in the website http://apeamcet.nic.in .
