The Counselling for Tamil Nadu Common Admissions 2009 is scheduled as given below. Individual communications are being sent to candidates calling them to appear for counselling. Eligible candidates who have applied for Tamil Nadu Common Admissions (TANCA) 2009 may appear for counselling at Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 25 along with their original certificates for verification, irrespective of the receipt of individual communication.
The counselling started on 17-08-2009 and will lasts till 23-08-2009.
Know MINIMUM CUT-OFF (MARK UPTO) FOR THE SESSION for GATE and Non-GATE candidates can be know from the PDF file
Candidates are advised to be present One and half hour before the start of the counselling session.Candidates attending counselling should make an initial payment of Rs.5300/- for General (Rs.1150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) by DD / Cash at the time of counselling at the bank counter available in the counselling centre for registration. The DD should be drawn in favour of The Director (Admissions), Anna University Chennai, payable at Chennai. The initial payment of Rs.5000/- or Rs.1000/- only will be adjusted towards tuition fee at the time of admission in the respective institutions.
Important Note: More number of candidates will be called for counselling than the available seats anticipating absenteeism. Candidates are advised to see the vacancy positions in the website http://www.annauniv.edu/tanca2009 before coming for counselling.
