United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi inaugurated the Global Education Centre-II (GEC-II) of Infosys here on Tuesday,September 15th, 2009 and described it as “a stunning reminder of what Indian talent, ingenuity, competence and hard work” could accomplish.

The GEC-II, located on the Infosys premises, has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 350 crore. It is the largest monolithic structure to be constructed in independent India with a built-up area of more than 10 lakh sq ft.

The company can provide training to 23,500 people at a time, making it one of the largest corporate education centres in the world.

The building of the new facility shares architectural resemblance with that of India's parliament and Rome's Colosseum. The entire Infosys campus here is spread over 337 acres.

Speaking after the inauguration, Ms. Gandhi said Infosys had proved that Indian companies could not only be world class but also be ahead of it.

Ms. Gandhi complimented Infosys mentor N.R. Narayana Murthy and his team for their endeavour.

APPSC[APSPSC] had released notification for the long awaited Group 2 Examinations. In fact the notification was released secretly 2 days back without informing to the print media and they had delayed to keep the notification details on their website www.apspsc.gov.in .

Recently APSPSC had also Group I Supplementary Notification for the year 2009 .

Here goes the details of the Group II notification:

Applications are invited On-line through the proforma Application to be made available on WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) from 01/10/2009 to 03/11/2009 for recruitment to the post of Group-II Services.

The Commission has dispensed with the sale of applications through HPOs / Sales Counter of Commission’s office. The desirous eligible Candidates may apply ON-LINE by satisfying themselves with the terms and conditions of this recruitment. The details are as follows:-

Keeping in view, the actual requirement with reference to the nature of work and activities of the Departments and also the overall Financial implications on the Government exchequer and in relaxation of the orders issued in G.O. Ms. No. 424 GA (Ser.A) Dept., dt. 15/12/2007, the Government in Finance Department have accorded permission for filling up of Additional vacancies falling under Group-II Services in addition to the vacancies already notified vide Notification No. 38/2008, dt. 30/12/2008, vide D.O. Letter No. 13860-B/737/A3/SMPC/2008-3/1, dt. 19/01/2009 and D.O. Lr. No. 5128/295/A3/SMPC/2009, dt. 27/02/2009. The Government have also issued orders duly enhancing the upper age limit to these Additional posts up to 39 years (other than uniformed services).

How to pay Fees and fill in the Application Form.

I Step:- The Candidate has to log-on to the WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community.

II Step:- Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India.

III Step:- The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid Challan with Journal Number in the first instance.

IV Step:- On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application for submission.

EAMCET 2009 Second Phase Counselling Important Dates

With the recent EAMCET 2009 First Phase Seat Allotment Results it is decided to conduct second and final phase of web based counseling for those who have qualified in EAMCET-2009 for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy Courses on account of increase in seats because of sanction of New Engineering & Pharmacy Colleges and also availability of left over vacancies of I phase.

I. Who can participate?

1) Candidates who secured seat in I Phase of web based counseling and wish to move to another course or college.

2) Candidates who participated in I phase of web based counseling and could not secure a seat.

3) Candidates qualified in EAMCET-09 and got their certificates verified but did not participate in I Phase of Web based counseling.

II. Exercising Options:

Candidates can exercise options as per the schedule given below:

Candidates who are satisfied with their previous allotment with regard to course and college should not exercise options again. Since some of the candidates who already secured seats will move to other courses and colleges, you may give options for courses and colleges which right now are not shown as available i.e., you can exercise options for any of the colleges listed for Ist phase web counseling and also the new colleges listed for this Final Phase.

Options can be exercised from Internet café/ Internet facility available at your residence or from any Help Line Centre. For list of Help Line Centres visit: http://apeamcet.nic.in . The Help Line Centres will not function on 21.09.2009 in view of Public Holiday. However, candidates can exercise options from any other place with internet facility.

III. Final Opportunity to Change Options Exercised:
Options exercised by you will be frozen on expiry of time allotted and displayed on the web on 24.09.2009. Candidates who wish to change their options should go to any one of Help Line Centres on 24.09.2009 it self between 9.00 AM to 05.00 PM and change options after remitting Rs.600/-. The options recorded in the server at 8.00 PM of 24.09.2009 will be considered for allotment of seats.

IV. Attention of Sports Candidates:
The Hon’ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh in W.P.No. 15393 of 2009 and W.P.No. 14270 of 2009 has directed to include Ball Badminton Under Games & Sports Quota for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy Courses. Hence, All the candidates who are claiming admission
under sport quota are hereby informed that the seats earmarked under sport quota are not filled during I phase of Engineering & Pharmacy Admissions to give opportunity to the candidates of Ball-Badminton also. The Sports quota seats will be filled during II phase.
ALL such candidates who are claiming admissions under Sports Quota have to once again exercise options for the seats under sport quota.

V. Important General Information:

EAMCET 2009 Seat Allotments will be released on 06/09/2009 after 06:00 P.M

Allotment of the engineering seats on this Sunday can be known easily to the students who gave their mobile numbers.They will receive an SMS alert on the allotted course and college.

On the whole 1.47 lakh students out of the 1.6 lakh have registered mobile numbers for SMS alerts.

Students can download their allotment statement order from the website http://apeamcet.nic.in. Candidates have to log onto the website, enter their hall-ticket number, registration number, date of birth and password after which the allotment order would be displayed. The bank challan for paying the fee can also be downloaded from the website.

Students of two year full time post graduate courses in Business Administration/Management recognized by Central/State Govt./Association of Indian universities and which are equivalent to MBA, are eligible for management stream scholarship. Students having confirmed admission in the first year of full time engineering degree course, MBBS, MBA and also 11th standard as well as those in the 1st year of 2 year ITI course are eligible to apply. Similarly in case of 10th/12th, if percentage of marks obtained is not mentioned by Board/University, percentage of marks obtained shall be calculated on total aggregate marks.

Minimum eligibility percentage of marks for various categories will be as indicated above. Gross Joint income of the family of the candidate from all sources (during financial year 2008-2009) should not exceed Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only). Income certificate should be issued by Competent Revenue Authorities only. The marks obtained in the qualifying examination making the students eligible to seek admission in the respective first year of these courses will be considered for selection.

Normalization of marks of applicant shall be done for Engg., MBBS & MBA streams to bring parity of marking system within different Boards/ Universities/Institutions. Criterion for selection will be merit and family’s income. Wards of the employees of IOCL, its Joint Venture and Subsidiary companies and ACE Consultants are not eligible to apply.

AGE LIMIT:

Minimum 15 years and maximum 30 years as on 1.9.2009. Persons born between 1.9.79 and 1.9.94 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.

RESERVATION & RELAXATION:

Relaxation in the upper age limit is 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 10 years for physically challenged/physically handicapped candidates. 50% of the scholarships are reserved for SC/ST & OBC candidates. In each stream/ category, 25% of scholarships are reserved for girl students and 10% for physically challenged/physically handicapped students. Only those listed in the central govt’s OBC list will be considered against OBC quota. OBC candidates of state list and not covered by central govt’s OBC list may apply against general quota.

APPLICATION:

Candidates studying in 11th standard, 1st year of a 2 year ITI course, 1st year of Engineering degree, MBBS and MBA in the academic year 2009-2010 are to apply through Online Application Form by logging on to www.applicationnew.com/ioclscholar. Such candidates need not send application form by post.

In order to avoid Postal delay/loss in transit, Candidates are requested to fill the Online Application First. If for any reason candidate encounters any problem/difficulty in applying through Online System, the candidate should download the Application form containing unique Application Form No. printed on it. Candidates who are applying offline may use this application form number for all their future correspondence. Applications not in prescribed format (downloaded from the website) will be summarily rejected.

Once awarded the scholarships will be disbursed @ Rs. 2,000/- per month for 4 years in case of
Engineering & MBBS and 2 years for MBA courses; and @ Rs 1,000 per month for duration of 2 years in case of 10+ and ITI course. Duration of each course in no case be less than the duration of the scholarship. The scholarship will be suspended, if the scholar is not promoted to the next academic year.

In case, the scholar is not promoted for the second time (in succession for 2 years during the entire course), the scholar will be taken off from the list of IOCL scholars and scholarship will be discontinued permanently. The performance of the scholar must be satisfactory during the entire duration of the course. The performance is to be certified by the Head /Principal/Dean/Director of the School/College/Institute /University. The top one scholar each from final year of Engineering, Medicine & Management (who top their respective university exam) and top 10 scholars amongst final year of ITI & 12th (who are able to achieve position amongst top ten in their respective Board) will be awarded bonus prize of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each and invited to the annual day function of IndianOil Institute of Petroleum Management, Gurgaon, to receive the prize. The travel, board & lodge expenses will be borne by IiPM/IOCL. A scholarship holder under this scheme will not hold any other scholarship/stipend from any other source. If awarded any other scholarship/stipend, the student can exercise his/her option for choosing the scholarship that he/she proposes to avail and inform awarding authority about the same. In case, the scholar opts for any other scholarship, he/she will have to refund the scholarship amount for the duration during which he/she is in receipt of the IOCL scholarship. There will be no obligation on part of IOCL to provide employment/vocational/summer training to any of the scholars, at any time/stage. IOCL reserves the right to reject any application as well as discontinue the scholarship at any time without giving any notice/ assigning any reason.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Applications received later than 30th September 2009, will not be accepted. No correspondence on this subject will be entertained. IOCL shall not be responsible for any postal delay/loss in transit. No request in this regard will be entertained. Incomplete application form will be rejected. Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi. The short listed candidates will be
requested separately, by post, to forward their Caste/Date of Birth/Mark Sheet/family’s Income Certificate etc., duly authenticated by appropriate competent authority/civil authority for verification of documents and drawing up final merit list. However, in case the marks, income or any other information; declared at the time of initial application; is found incorrect during scrutiny; the candidature of such candidates shall be summarily rejected. Decision of IndianOil regarding Scholar’s selection shall be final and no correspondence on the selection process shall be entertained.

LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation was established on 20.10.2006, and registered with Charity Commissioner under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 with the objective of promoting education, health, relief of poverty or distress and advancement of other objects of general public utility.

Projects range from scholarships, health initiatives, rural education programmes and providing infrastructural support in fields of education and health.

1. OBJECTIVE

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of society so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability.

2. SCOPE

The scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private
college/university,. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/ Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes at Graduation level.

3. ELIGIBILITY

Students who have passed Class XII exam or its equivalent in Year 2009 and are interested to pursue higher education in the field of

d) Diploma Cources in any field and
e) Any Vocational course which leads to immediate employment and where minimum education qualification stipulated is plus 2

Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade in the Class 12 or its equivalent final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs60,000/ per annum.

4. DURATION

Scholarship shall be provided for the entire course.

5. RATE OF SCHOLARSHIP

Rs.10,000/- per annum, Rs.1000/ payable monthly for ten months directly into the bank account of the Beneficiary.

6. CONDITIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP

(i) Scholarship shall be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.60,000/ per annum. Students having the lowest family income shall be given preference in the ascending order.

(ii) The scholarship shall be discontinued if a student fails to secure 50% in B.A./B.COM. and 55% marks in other streams or equivalent grade, in the previous final examination of the course for which scholarship is awarded. Scholarship shall not be awarded for more than the normal period of time taken to obtain certificate/degree.

(iii) Scholarship shall not be given to more than one student in a family.

(iv) The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick shall be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.

(v) Income certificate should be on self-certification basis by way of an affidavit on non-judicial stamp paper for self-employed parents and from employer for employed parents supported by documents such as land held by revenue department in the name of parents.

(vi) If a student violates any other term and condition of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended or cancelled.

(vii) If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship shall be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned Divisional Administration of LIC.

(viii) LIC Golden Jubilee Foundation will lay down the detailed procedure for processing and sanctioning of scholarships to eligible students.

(ix) Scholarship shall be credited to the student’s bank account maintained at the place of study. Efforts shall be made for transferring it electronically through the banks.

(x) The scheme shall be evaluated at regular intervals by the LICGJF.

(xi) The regulations can be changed at any time at the discretion of the Board of Trustees of LICGJF

7. RENEWAL OF SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured 50% in B.A./B.COM. and 55% marks in other streams or equivalent grade in the examination.

How to pay Fees and fill in the Application Form.

I Step:- The Candidate has to logon to the WEBSITE (www.apspsc.gov.in) and enter his/her Basic Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community.

II Step:- Immediately on entering the above details the Applicant will get Challan Form to pay the Fee at AP Online centers /State Bank of India.

III Step:- The Applicant should pay the prescribed Fee in any one of the A.P. Online centers / State Bank of India and obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number in the first instance.

IV Step:- On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application for submission.

1.Candidate is required to deposit One time non refundable processing fees of Rs 700/- at any of the branch of corporation bank in Delhi/NCR then only candidate will gain access to Online registration,

2.Online Registration can be done through the Website URL : http://cetdelhi.nic.in from any of the Internet access points, like Cyber Café, residence, etc, during which the candidate is required to enter the details of their respective qualifying examination, category/sub-category, gender, address, mobile no./contact no.,Region etc. . Any incorrect entry will be the sole responsibility of the candidate and may disqualify him/her from counseling/admission.

3.Candidate is advised to keep password generated by him/her during on line registration secure as it can be misutilized.

4.After submitting the necessary details in the registration form , Registration details of the candidate will appear indicating data filled by the candidate

5.If the entered registration details of the candidate are not correct then He/ She can change the registration details by clicking the Edit Registration Details Button

6.Once the candidate confirms the registration using Confirm Registration Details Button, then candidate will not be able to modify the details.

7.At the end of the process, an Online Registration receipt will be generated on the screen displaying the Registration Status & Eligibility Status for Counseling.

The post metric scholarship will be sanctioned to the minority students of Intermediate, Graduation, Post Graduation and Professional Courses as follows:

2.Whose parents / guardians annual income does not exceeds Rs 1 lakh.

3.If the distance between the residence of the student and institution is below 5 KM Scholarship will not be sanctioned.

4.If the distance is above 5 KM it will be treated as Student Managed Hostel and Scholarship will be sanctioned as per SMH rate.

5.Fee Reimbursement will be sanctioned to all the Students irrespective of distance whose parents income does not exceed Rs 1 lakh on par with social welfare department.

6. The Scholarship amount shall be disbursed to the students who put in 75% attendance in normal time

JEECUP 2009 Off/On Campus Counselling jeecup.nic.in Procedure

The counselling procedure is divided in two phases:

Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line Counselling
Phase-II: On-Campus On-line Counselling

The counsellees will have access, through computer screen, to category-wise information relating to

(a) Number of candidates with higher merit who would have already exercised their choices.
(b) Number of higher merit holders yet to exercise their choices.
(c) Current status of branch-wise and institution-wise available seats.

The detailed procedure is described below.
Phase-I : Off-Campus On-Line Counselling

Soon after declaration of jeec-2009 results, candidates found eligible for counselling are required to exercise their initial choices of branches and institutions through Internet (www.jeecup.nic.in) from places of their convenience. The candidates may contact the nearby Counselling Centres (CC) for availing the Internet facility free of charge.
A candidate has to log on to the website http://www.jeecup.nic.in and click ‘off-campus’ counselling button on the home page.
Login and password prompts will appear on the computer screen. Using the instructions given on the screen, candidates are to enter the login ID and password for which admit card would be required.
The procedure for exercising choices or seeking other information is menu driven. It guides the candidates through appropriate messages on the computer screen.
Information relating to institutions, disciplines (e.g. Diploma Engineering /, Diploma in Pharmacy, Hotel Management etc.), branches (e.g. Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or Mechanical Engg. etc.) and categories (UPGE or UPSC or UPBC etc.) will be available through each relevant dropdown menu for the purpose of exercising choices as well as for a feel of their competitive standing for their preferred choices among the logged-in candidates.
The name of counselling centre will be displayed on computer screen during Phase-I.
The candidates are permitted, if they so desire, to change their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices any number of times, based on the information which will appear on the computer screen. The candidates are free to consult their parents, teachers, friends and others for advice during Phase-I. The off-campus counselling will facilitate the selection of the most appropriate discipline, institution and branches / programme at candidates' rank and in their categories for submitting their final choices during on-campus counselling.
Choices will be processed and indicative seat allocation will be put on the web at frequent intervals. The dates of next update of indicative seat allocation will be specified on the website.

Phase-II : On-Campus On-Line Counselling

Eligible candidates will be required to report at only one counselling centre, which will be displayed on computer screen during Phase-I. They will have to stay there for two days. A list of counselling centres is also given in this leaflet, and is also available on the website.

DAY ONE -The Counselling Day

On the first day of reporting (day one) as per schedule, the candidates will proceed to the document verification counters for verification of their certificates and admit card. Candidates are required to bring all certificates in original along with one photocopy of each and four copies of their photograph identical to the one pasted on the application form.
Thereafter the candidates will proceed to the fee collection counters. Initial deposit of Rs. 3000/- will be collected at the computerised fee counters. The deposit is to be made through a crossed demand draft in favour of Sachiva, Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad, U.P., payable at Lucknow. This amount will be transferred to the allotted institution and adjusted in the fee to be deposited there. Here it is to be noted that initial deposit will be through Crossed Demand Draft and not Account Payee.
The initial deposit of fees Rs. 3000/- is transferable to institution concerned where the candidate is admitted. In case, the candidate does not take admission in the college concerned for any reasons, howsoever, this deposit will be forfitted.
A Counselling fees Rs. 300/- is to be paid in shape of an ACCOUNT PAYEE demand draft in favour of Sachiva, Sanyukt Pravesh Pariksha Parishad,U.P., payable at Lucknow . Please note that this amount is non-refundable and no any part of it will be refundable at any stage after the candidate has reported for on-campus on-line counselling at the counselling centre.
Any discrepancies related to date of birth, category, sub-category, sex and state of eligibility in the computer record generated on the basis of application form submitted earlier to JEEC-2009 by the candidate and in the original certificates will be rectified by the competent authorities at the counselling centre and their decision will be final in this regard. A printout of the modified record will be given to the candidate.
Any change in the candidate’s name, father’s name and the status of general category shall not be permitted under any circumstances after commencement of examination.
Candidates must ensure in their own interest, that their state of eligibility, categories, sub-categories, if any, are mentioned correctly on the printout given to them.
After verification, the candidates will be required to exercise their final choices of seats on-line by using choice to indicate the choice of institution with Branch in order of their preference.
The current status of the available seats, will be continuously displayed for the guidance of candidates.
The candidates will get a printout for each of the choice forms submitted by them. A copy of each of these is to be signed by the candidate and returned after verification.
Candidates are advised to choose the college / branches taking into consideration that his choice on DAY-ONE and the subsequent allotment on DAY-TWO is once and final.

DAY TWO-The Allotment Day

The choices submitted through choice form on (day one) will be processed centrally on the following day (day two ) and the list of candidates who are allotted an institution along with a branch for admission will be displayed on the website. These candidates will be called in order of Rank for the issue of seat allotment letter. The candidates must bring their copy of choice form along with fee receipt to get the allotment letter.
For admission in the institute, the candidates are to report to the alloted institution along with allotment letter, photocopy of all demand drafts submitted at counselling centre and all fee receipts issued from counselling centre.

The Rank holders of EAMCET-2009 are directed to attend the counseling for admission into MBBS / BDS Courses for the year 2009-10 at the following centers as per the schedule given below. Counselling is scheduled in three phases .

3] The candidate should have qualified in EAMCET-2009. The OC candidates should secure not less than 50%. BC/SC/ST candidates should secure not less than 40% in EAMCET-2009.

4 ]The candidate should have passed Intermediate (10 + 2 pattern) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology and English. The OC candidate should have obtained not less than 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, where as candidates belonging to BC/SC/ST Categories should have obtained not less than 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology.

5 ]The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31-12-2009.

6 ] The candidates who wish to claim seats under Anglo Indian, Sports & Games, CAP (Army), NCC, Physically Challenged (PH) candidates (Special Categories) also need to fulfill the above eligibility criteria indicated in 1 to 5.

The eligible candidates are advised to attend for counseling at any one of the counseling center of their choice.

1. The selected candidates shall pay the fee in the form on Demand Drafts drawn (not earlier than this date of notification) in any nationalized Bank in favour of “Registrar, Dr NTR University of Health Sciences payable at Vijayawada”.

2. If the candidate fails to pay the fee after choosing the seat, the seat will be cancelled automatically without any notice. The candidates will not be given any extension of time to pay the fee.

3. The University Fee once paid shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

Counseling Fee (non- refundable): All the candidate who attend counseling have to pay an amount of Rs. 200/- for OC/BC and Rs.100/- for SC/ST as counseling fee at the reception counter of the counseling center irrespective of their selection /admission. The counseling fee receipt can be produced in subsequent counselings for entry into the counseling center.

Certificates to be produced at the time of counseling:

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES

Every Candidate attending for Certificate Verification at Help-line Centre is requested to
follow the stages as indicated below:

Stage–1: Candidate Registration for Certificate verification:

Wait for the announcement from authorities of Help Line Centres for Registration.
After announcement, hand over the rank card to officer at entrance.
Wait for your turn in the registration hall.
When your rank is called pay registration-cum-counseling fee and obtain receipt.
Collect Registration-Cum-Verification form from computer operator at Registration counter.
Enter details i.e. hall ticket number, rank etc. in the Register and append your signature.
Your registration is completed. Go back and wait in the registration hall for announcement.
After announcement by the officer at Registration counter, report at Verification counter for certificate verification.

STAGE 2: Verification of Certificates:

Verify the details printed on Registration-Cum-Verification form for name, local area, sex, category, date of birth etc. for correctness.
If there is any mistake, report to verification officer for correction.
If you belong to SC/ST/BC Category, report to Caste Verification officer and submit the original Caste Certificate for verification and clearance. After Caste verification report to one of the Certificate verification officers to get other certificates like Rank Card, Hall ticket, Marks memo, Study certificate, income certificate etc. for verification.
If you belong to OC Category, directly report to Certificate verification officer.
The Officers will verify all the original certificates given by you.
A Print out of Receipts of certificates will be given to you and if you find any discrepancy report to the Chief Verification Officer for correction. Append your signature.
Proceed to the Briefing Hall to take instructions on exercising options.

STAGE 3: Instructions on Exercising Options:

Exercising options means you have to select Colleges and courses you wish to join and arrange them in the order of priority.
Collect List of College and their codes, courses offered and course codes, Manual option form and specimen option form and retain with you.
The Officer in Briefing Room will explain the procedure of exercising options and filling of Blank option form.

STAGE 4: Preparatory work to be made by you at home for exercising options:

Consult your parents/friends on the selection of courses and Colleges you wish to join.
Take the manual option form and write option number, College code and course code you wish to join. For example, if you wish to join in JNTU College of Engineering, Hyderabad under option number, you will write 1, under College code write JNTH, under course Write CSE. If you wish to join in Mechanical Engineering Branch as your second option, write 2 under option number, HYD under district code and JNTH under College code and write MECH under course code i.e. if the vacancy is not available in CSE Branch, MEC will be considered for allotment of seats. In the similar fashion, write down any number of options.
Once your list in the manual option form is ready, take the Specimen option form and enter the option numbers against College codes and course codes you have selected and fill the entire specimen option form. This filled in specimen option form shall have to be handed over to the operator to fill the option entry form on the computer screen. Do not forget to take the filled in manual option form and filled in specimen option form to the internet centre as these are essential for entering the options on a computer.

STAGE 5: Procedure to be followed for exercising options on Internet:

• You can exercise the options from home or from any internet café or from any Help Line Center with the help of filled in manual option form and filled in specimen option form already available with you.

Note: For entering the options on the computer screen make use of either filled in manual option form or a specimen option form. If you are confident to enter the option numbers directly from the manual option form, enter the option numbers directly in the input boxes or with the help of Specimen Option form you can enter option numbers on the screen. Remember that the filled in specimen option form is the exact replica of option entry form displayed on
the screen. If you are unable to enter the option numbers, request the computer operator to enter the options numbers on the screen by handing over filled in manual option form or specimen option form.

• Save the option numbers entered on the screen periodically and inform the computer operator also about this incase operator is entering the options.

Steps to be followed for entering the options on screen:

• You must have already completed certificate verification.
• Please enter URL or Website address: http://apeamcet.nic.in or as indicated in the notification.
• The home page contains the information regarding Web Counselling, “Candidates Registration” for web counseling and “Candidates Login” for exercising options.
• Before selecting the “Candidates Login” for exercising the options, you have to complete the ‘Candidate Registration.
• Through “Candidates Registration” process, generate the password required for exercising options.
• Click on ‘Candidate Registration’ and enter the following details.

and click on “Generate Pass word”.

Exercising Options:

• “Candidate Login” is provided for exercising the options.
• Enter the details “ICR No., Hall Ticket No., Pass Word and Date of Birth” and click on “Sign In”.
• Read the instructions carefully. Read the Declaration and click on Check Box to confirm the same and then click on “Option Entry Form” or “Help Screen”. Click on “Help Screen” will display the screen providing explanation about different Menu items.
• Read the explanation about various menu items, and then click the button “Click here to Enter Options”, it displays the screen with various districts along with check boxes the same will also be displayed if you click on “Option Entry form” in the last screen:
• Select one or more districts or statewide institutions to display the Colleges in those districts along with Statewide Institutions or ‘Check all’ to display all the Colleges in the state including statewide Institutions.
• Click on ‘Display Option Entry form’ displays the screen for exercising the options.
• In the screen three year courses (Engineering and Non-Engineering) are displayed in Creamy Yellow Colour and three and half year courses in grey Colour.
• By looking at already filled Specimen Option form, enter the option numbers in the spaces on the Screen.
• You are advised not to start entering options directly on the web without preparatory work at home, as you may commit mistakes.
• While filling the option form ‘Click on Save Options’ at regular intervals. After completion of Option entry Click on “Logout”, it displays an alert message with three buttons “Save and Logout”, “Confirm Logout” and ‘Cancel Logout’.
• Click on ‘Cancel Logout’ retains the Options Entry Form. Click on “Save & Logout” button will save the options exercised up to that point of time and display the details of the options exercised. Click on “Confirm Logout’ button will directly display the details of the options exercised.
• After verification of the options exercised by him, for modifying the options, the candidate has to click on Login for Option Entry.
• You are informed that, you can add, modify or delete the options any number of times within in stipulated time. The options recorded in the server on the last day will be frozen. If you wish change the frozen options once again approach any one of help line centres on any one of the dates mentioned to modify your frozen options.

This is the final opportunity and after this no further change can be done. The Options recorded in the server on the last day will be taken for allotment of seats. You can take a printout of the options exercised.

Stage 6: Final Allotment of Seats

• The allotments will be processed on the date mentioned in the notification based on merit and category and will be placed in the web. You have to down- load the allotment order. This is final allotment and request for change will not be entertained.

Stage 7: Payment of Fees

• Download the challan form for payment of fee or collect it from helpline centre. With downloaded allotment order you have to remit the fees in one of the branches of Andhra Bank or Indian Bank in the State and obtain a receipt. However in respect of SC/ST/BC/PH/Minority a candidate whose parental income is up to one lakh per annum, payment of Tuition fee and Special fee is exempted.

Stage 8: Reporting at College:

• With downloaded allotment order fee receipt etc., you have to report at the respective Colleges in which seat is allotted within the dates mentioned by the authorities. If you fail to report on or before the date stipulated by the authority the allotment made in favour of you will be treated as cancelled and you will have no claim further on the allotment.

Registration of AIPMT (AIPMEE/AIPDEE) candidates to participate in the counseling- cum –admission against 15% all India Quota seats in private medical colleges.

As per provision of “The Orissa Professional Educational ( Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fee) Act ,2007” 15% of the seats in MBBS and BDS programmes in all private medical colleges to be filled up by valid AIPMT rank holders. To participate the counselling, these candidates are required to register on line at the official website www.jeeorissa.com from 10.07.2009 to 12.07.2009. Candidates are advised to take the print out after the registration. The candidates are allowed to enter the counselling hall with production of this printout. Only registered candidates will be allowed to participate in counseling. The schedule and venue for counseling for these candidates are at 8.15 AM on 14.07.2009at Conference Hall , Hotel Kharavela, Khandagiri Chhak,Bhubaneswar-30. No separate letter will be given to candidates for attending Counselling.
